<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine security in backup data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A security management program checks the output of backup data, that of a management key generated at each backup, and the matching of the management key preserved by a computer and an output management key when reading the backup data, when backing up data from the computer to an external storage medium, and simultaneously outputs a program having a security management function for preventing the backup data from being taken out when the management key does not match, thus automatically determining security in the backup data.
