<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adult object determination method and system for determining a skin index from an image extracted from an object of adult object determination and determining whether the object is an adult object by using the skin index. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The adult object determination method includes steps of: analyzing colors of an input image extracted from the object; acquiring an image of a color region of a flesh color system from the input image when the input image includes the color region of the flesh color system as a result of the analysis; determining a skin region by using the image of the color region; and determining whether the object is an adult object according to the skin index determined by using the area of the skin region.
