<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a dust moving path is formed in a lens unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens unit 50 includes: a plurality of lenses 10 to 40 each of which has a partially notched flange part; a cylinder part 60 holding the plurality of lenses 10 to 40 layered along an optical axis; and a light shielding sheet 97 blocking a path formed by keeping spaces formed between the individual lenses 10 to 40 and the cylinder part 60 by the partial notches of the flange parts continuous along the optical axis by layering of the lenses. By blocking the path formed by keeping the spaces formed between the individual lenses and a holding body by the partial notches of the flange parts continuous along the optical axis by layering of the lenses, movement of the dust through the path is suppressed.
