PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency device that overcomes a disadvantage of low sensitivity. SOLUTION: A high frequency device 30;30';30";30'" controls a means for supplying power to at least one electrical load 14, 14', includes a high frequency signal transmission and/or reception type high frequency unit 11 and is connected to the AC mains 9 by a first conductor 9b, wherein the high frequency unit includes a high frequency signal output and/or input 20 connected to a first terminal 21 of a tuning circuit 17; 17' of the high frequency device by an HF link 19, the tuning circuit being connected to the first conductor by a second terminal 22, connected to a ground GND of the high frequency unit by a third terminal 23, and furnished with means L1, C1; L2, C3, C4 for blocking the conduction of high frequency signals on the first conductor between the second terminal and the third terminal, and between the second terminal and the third terminal, an AC current I-ACT traverses which flows in the first conductor and supplies power to the electrical load.
