PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform proper repair in conformity with a defect without relying upon a new defect repair technique even when an already registered defect repair technique cannot be applied to a defect at a wiring part. SOLUTION: Defect repair devices B1 to Bn are connectable to a server via a telecommunication circuit. The defect repair devices B1 to Bn include a defect position specifying means D1 specifying a defect position, a determination means D2 determining the existence of the defect repair technique coping with the defect position, a repair technique search means D3 searching for a usable defect repair technique from among the plurality of defect repair techniques stored in the server C when it is determined that there is no corresponding defect repair technique, a repair technique conversion means D4 converting the searched defect repair technique into one coping with the wiring part with the defect, and defect repair means D5 repairing the wiring part with the defect.
