<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce nanofibers, while explosions caused by solvent vapor are prevented. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Provided is a nanofiber production apparatus comprising outflow means 201 that causes the outflow of a starting material liquid 300 into a space, a first charging means 202 for imparting an electrostatic charge to the starting material liquid 300, a guiding means 206 for forming wind tunnels for guiding the produced nanofibers 301, a gas flow generating means 203 that generates a gas flow for transporting the nanofibers into the guiding means 206, a scattering means 240 for scattering the nanofibers 301 guided by the guiding means 206, a collection device for electrically pulling together and collecting the nanofibers 301, and a suction means 102 for sucking vaporized components evaporated from the starting material liquid 300 and the gas flow.
