<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel which facilitates operations for switching a clutch mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spinning reel includes: a clutch mechanism capable of switching a spool 5 rotatably supported between the right and left side plates 2A, 2B of a reel body 1 to the crutch ON of a power transmission state or to the crutch OFF of a power interruption state; and a clutch-switching member 22 in which a switch OFF operation portion 23 for switching OFF the clutch mechanism and a switch ON operation portion 24 for switching ON the clutch mechanism are integrally formed. The clutch-switching member 22 has such a shape that a switch ON operation portion 24 covers the upper side of at least one of both the right and left side plates 2A, 2B, and is movably supported on the reel body 1.
