<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for realizing a configuration with which the rear end jump does not occur when a medium to be recorded passes a conveying means, simply and inexpensively, even if the length of the recorded medium cannot be obtained correctly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer part 11 includes a conveying roller 60 and a pinch roller 61 which catch recording paper 90 and convey it intermittently in the conveyance direction 104, a recording head 39 for performing an image recording in the recording paper 90 while the intermittent conveying stops, and a control part 70 for controlling the movement of the conveying roller 60. The control part 70 corrects a start point search amount H which is the distance from the first end 91 to the first nip position 94 of the recording paper 90 in the conveyance direction 104 so that it may differ mutually in the recording paper 90 for performing the image recording continuously.
