<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix E-type cores and a bobbin in a non-rattling state without increasing the number of components and without using adhesive and varnish. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil component includes the bobbin 11 made of resin, winding 12 wound around the bobbin 11, and a pair of the E-type cores 13 assembled to the bobbin 11. The bobbin 11 has a cylinder part 15 into which mid-leg parts 13a of the E-type cores 13 are inserted, flanges 16 formed at both ends of the cylinder part 15, and terminal stands 17 which are formed to be continuous to the flanges 16 and are arranged to project to the opposite side of the cylinder part 15 with respect to the flanges 16. First ribs 19 are arranged in the flanges 16 while they are depressed to respective inner sides of both external leg parts 13b of the E-type cores 13. Second ribs 20 are arranged so that they are continuous with insertion-side end faces of the E-type cores 13 of the flanges 16 and to the terminal stands 17 while they are depressed to coupling parts 13c of the E-type cores 13.
