<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable C which is installed in a gap existing between a vertical frame of a window and a frame of a sliding door, and a flat cable that is installed rapidly and with a good work efficiency when the flat cable C is installed along the substrate surface of the vertical frame of the window frame and the surface of two projections located perpendicularly to it. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tubular sheath 9 includes a rear member 10 and a surface member 11 and these are formed of a material in free extension in longitudinal direction, and furthermore, the rear member and the surface member have a space 16 in the center part and a coaxial cable 13 exists in zigzag state in the space part. When the sheath 9 is extended in longitudinal direction, the coaxial cable 13 is also extended corresponding to the extension of the sheath 9 while changing the curvature of the zigzag state.
