<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell excellent in output characteristics and cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The air cell includes: an air electrode having an air electrode layer containing a conductive material and an air electrode collector for performing power collection of the electrode layer; a negative electrode having a negative electrode layer containing a negative electrode active material and a negative electrode collector for performing power collection of the negative electrode layer; a separator placed between the air electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; and an electrolyte for conduction of metal ions between the air electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, wherein the electrolyte contains a sulfur-containing cyclic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
