<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel for improving accuracy of recognizing a plurality of touch positions in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel includes a light guide plate 16 having a first face 16a for detecting a contact position of an object to be detected, and a second face 16b opposite to the first face; a plurality of light sources 18a, 18b and 19a, 19b for emitting light toward the light guide plate 16; and a plurality of light-receiving modules 17a and 17b for receiving the light emitted from a side face of the light guide plate 16.
