摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical zinc oxide particle useful especially as a thermoconductive material which has a specific particle size distribution, a small BET specific surface area and hardly pores inside the particle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spherical zinc oxide particle has an average particle diameter of 1-300 μm, a BET specific surface area of ≤0.2 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a pore volume determined by mercury porosimetry of ≤0.05 ml/g and a sphericity of <1.4, and the high thermal conductivity composition contains the spherical zinc oxide particle powder of ≥30 volume% in a material containing a polymer material as a main component.
