<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability for the feeding adjustment of a tape without changing the timing of the intermittent rotation of a feeding shaft to the phase of the upper shaft even when the adjustment for the feeding amount is performed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This sewing machine having the function of tape feeding includes a slider 23, a guide rail 25, a sliding groove 23b, a piece member 26, and a feeding adjusting member 27. In this case, the slider 23 is freely rotatably connected with a crank rod 22. The guide rail 25 guides the slider in a linear direction. The sliding groove 23b is formed on the slider in a direction being orthogonal to a direction being guided by the guide rail. The piece member 26 is freely movably connected along the sliding groove. The feeding adjusting member 27 is pivotally supported by the piece member in a manner to be turnable, and also keeps the attaching position adjustably fixed to a rocking arm. The pivot point center of the slider reciprocates on a first straight line L1. A second straight line L2 which connects the pivot point center of the feeding adjusting member with the rocking center of the rocking arm 28 is orthogonal to the first straight line regardless of the attaching position of the feeding adjusting member to the rocking arm when a connecting member 24 is located at a middle point within the reciprocation range.
