PURPOSE: A locking device of a side rail for a hospital bed is provided, which can prevent a locking device allowing the pose change of the side rail from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A locking device of a side rail for a hospital bed comprises a bed main body(10); a lateral support(31) which is parallelly installed with the bed main body on the upper part of the bed main body; a side rail which is prepared to be folded against the hinge body to make vertical supports(32,33) erected or laid; and a locking device(40) which is prepared to release fixing of the side rail of the state that the vertical support is erected. The locking device includes a hanging pin(60) and a constraining member(70) equipped with a hanging hole(71).
