PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for an elevator capable of preventing any rust or damage of an on-ceiling member without allowing steam to be deposited on the on-ceiling member. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner 1 for the elevator which is loaded on a ceiling (an on-car 3) of a car, and capable of cooling the inside of the car, and comprises a casing 9 for storing internal apparatuses 11, an evaporation apparatus 31 for evaporating dew condensation water generated in the casing 9, and a steam cover 35 (a steam receiving means) which is provided at the position in the steam discharging direction in which the steam generated by evaporating the dew condensation water by the evaporation device 31 is discharged from the discharge port 9d formed on the casing 9, and receives the steam.
