PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for hangingly locking and fitting a fireproof member by which the fireproof member can be hangingly locked and fitted to a fitted side in a fixed state without looseness, and the fireproof member is prevented from being removed and falling from the fitted side upon a fire. SOLUTION: A recess 6 for hangingly locking is formed on a vertical face 1a of the fireproof member 1. A screw 10 is driven into the fitted side 2. An intermediate interposing member 11 is arranged on the screw 10. A head side of the screw 10 is arranged in the recess 6 for hangingly locking together with the intermediate interposing member 11. Thus, the fireproof member 1 is hangingly locked to the fitted side 2 in the fixed state without looseness. The intermediate interposing member 11 is formed of a resin or the like which loses supporting power when its temperature reaches a predetermined temperature by the heat of the fire. The fireproof member 1 maintains a state of being held on the fitted side 2 by the screw 10 while having looseness with respect to the fitted side 2 when the intermediate interposing member 11 loses its supporting power because of the fire.
