<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is superior in mechanical/electric durability, does not generate abnormal images such as a blurred image and can stably output images even if the photoreceptor is repeatedly used for a long period of time, and that has high durability, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the photoreceptor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive support made of a conductive material and at least a charge generation layer containing a charge generating material and a surface protective layer containing a charge transport material, filler particles and a specific diamine compound on the conductive support.
