THE APPARATUS OF BILGE CONTAMINATION PREVENTION FOR A SHIP

PURPOSE: A bilge contamination prevention apparatus of a ship is provided to prevent bilge from being mixed into seawater when seawater is supplied by a pump. CONSTITUTION: A bilge contamination prevention apparatus of a ship comprises a first valve(112), a pump(120), a second valve(142), a bilge waste line, a third valve(152), and a valve connective pipe(160). The first valve is installed on a first pipe line(110) to discharge bilge in an emergency of the ship. The pump is connected with the first pipe line and a seawater supply line(132). The second valve is connected from the pump to supply seawater to an engine room or firefighting equipment. The bilge waste line and the third valves are branched from a second pipe line(140) and connected to the sea to discharge bilge. The valve connective pipe connects the first and second valves so that the pressure of the pump in operation is transmitted through the second valve to the first valve and the first valve is closed.
