<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-source holder 5 with reduced costs for the light-source holder for holding a light source even if an optical pickup includes two light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The light-source holder 5 used to hold a light source disposed in the optical pickup includes: a holder body portion 51; a through-hole 52 which penetrates the holder body portion 51 and in which a light source is fitted; a first hold potion 54 that holds a first light source if the first light source is fitted in the through-hole 52 from a first side, one of first and second sides (this side and a deep side) of the holder body portion 51 which are opposite to each other with respect to the holder body portion 51; and a second hold portion 55 that holds a second light source if the second light source is fitted in the through-hole 52 from a second side, one of the first and second sides of the holder body portion 51 which are opposite to each other with respect to the holder body portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
