<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can prevent the occurrence of an image failure. <P>SOLUTION: While electromagnetic waves are emitted toward a bunch of sheets which are loaded and stored in a sheet storing section by a THz wave-emitting section 100, the electromagnetic waves emitted toward the bunch of sheets by the electromagnetic wave emitting section is received by a THz wave-receiving section 101.
