<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector socket in which displacement of a contact point of a contact due to distortion of a connector body supporting the contact is made small, thereby electrical connection with a connection object can be prevented in the environmental test or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The connector socket is provided with: a socket body in which a plug housing space to be inserted with a connection object and a plurality of slits to house and support contacts to contact the electrode of the connection object inserted into the plug housing space are formed; two elastic deformation parts each having a contact point to contact one corresponding electrode of the connection object; and a plurality of contacts which support elastic deformably the base portions of the two elastic deformation parts and include fixing portions to be respectively pressed in the plurality of slits. The contacts include a short elastic deformation part and a long elastic deformation part, and the distance between the lowermost point of the long elastic deformation part and the bottom face of the slits is set smaller than the displacement amount (length) of the contact point of the long elastic deformation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
