PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerofoil part for a nozzle including a machined curved contour passage. SOLUTION: In the nozzle 1, the aerofoil part 10 includes a pressure surface 12 and a suction surface 11 that join at substantially opposing chordal end parts to form a leading edge 14 of the aerofoil part 10 and a trailing edge 13 of the aerofoil part 10. A trailing edge passage 50 is defined through the aerofoil part 10 through which coolant can flow. The trailing edge passage 50 is close to the trailing edge 13 of the aerofoil part 10 and has a curved contour shape that conforms to that of the trailing edge 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
