<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software reuse support technique for determining the reuse range of software component reuse which clarifies and expands the reuse range of software components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A support apparatus 101 manages product components, software frameworks providing frameworks of classifying products by the product components, inputs/outputs provided, and reuse expansion settings featuring the inputs/outputs for improving reusability. Relationships are also managed between software component repositories providing frameworks of classifying software component groups in function units, and the product components. Functions, inputs and outputs constituting the software component groups, and component group reuse expansion settings are further managed, and according to a change thereof, a reusability determination is made for the software component repositories and software component groups in software framework units.
