<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication conversion apparatus capable of converting communication data between Bluetooth(R) communication and ZigBee(R) communication. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A communication conversion apparatus has: a Bluetooth communication part 3 that receives data for Bluetooth communication which is a communication protocol that conforms to a short-range wireless communication specification; a transmission data converting part 4 that converts Bluetooth communication data received by the Bluetooth communication part 3 to data for ZigBee communication which is a communication protocol that conforms to a short-range wireless communication specification; and a ZigBee communication part 1 that transmits ZigBee communication data converted by the transmission data converting part 4.
