<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile router ad hoc network communication system capable of achieving an efficient TCP packet transfer when a plurality of mobile routers constitute an ad hock network. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a system in which the mobile routers MR1 to MR4 constitute the ad hoc network using wireless lines, a TCP proxy function is provided in each of the mobile routers MR1 to MR4 and a home agent HA, and the TCP proxy function is caused to operate at both ends of each wireless line, whereby the efficient TCP packet transfer is achieved.
