<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin return device preventing that a finger of a user is caught in a gap occurring between a coin box and an opening/closing lid when the user takes out a coin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this coin return device, a bottom part of the coin box positioned in the rear of the opening/closing lid has an up inclination, and the inclination has, in a side view, with a turn shaft of the opening/closing lid as a center point, an arc shape of a circle drawn with a line segment from the center point to a point wherein a straight line drawn just under from the turn shaft crosses the bottom face part as a radius.
