摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hysteresis characteristic inspecting method whereby a hysteresis characteristic of a three-terminal optical sensor can be easily measured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the hysteresis characteristic inspecting method, a gradation neutral density filter 11 is disposed between a light emitting element 102 of a three-terminal optical sensor and a light receiving element 101 of a light receiving circuit 108 as shown in Fig.5. Since an incident light quantity entering from the light emitting element 102 to the light receiving element 101 is reduced by the neutral density filter 11, a supply voltage Vcc at the time when an output voltage Vo changes from an L level to an H level can be made larger than in the case where there is no neutral density filter. Thus, in the three-terminal optical sensor wherein a constant voltage circuit 106 is driven by the supply voltage Vcc, a state such that the constant voltage circuit 106 does not operate before a supply current Icc(off) in turning off of the output voltage is measured can be avoided.
