<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system capable of efficiently cooling the inside of the cooling system, by efficiently radiating heat generated inside the cooling system, while preventing infiltration of water inside a motor body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cooling fan 5 has a substantially bottomed cylindrical fan boss 40 arranged so as to cover a cylindrical part of a yoke, and a fan blade extending radially from a cylindrical part 42 of the fan boss 40. A boss part connected with a rotary shaft and a rib 52 extending radially from the boss part and formed along an inner peripheral surface of the fan boss 40, are arranged on an inner peripheral surface of the fan boss 40. An air vent 39 penetrating in the axial direction of the rotary shaft is formed between adjacent second ribs 56 in a bottom part 44 of the fan boss 40, and the opening area of a discharge port 39b in the air vent 39 is formed smaller than the opening area of a receiving port 39a.
