<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device preventing stick-slip sound from being transmitted to the outside even if the stick-slip sound is generated between a calked part of a hub wheel and a shoulder part of an outer coupling member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the wheel bearing device, an inner ring 3 is pressure-fitted to a cylindrical small diameter step part 2b formed on the hub wheel 2, the inner ring 3 is fixed to the hub wheel 2 by the calked part 7 formed by plastically deforming an end part of the small diameter step part 2b to an outer side in a radial direction, and the hub wheel 2 and the outer coupling member 13 are fastened through a serration torque-transmittably and separably in an axial direction. An end surface 15a of the shoulder part 15 of the outer coupling member 13 and an end surface 7a of the calked part 7 abutted on the end surface 15a of the shoulder part 15 are formed on a flat surface and are surface-contacted with each other with a predetermined contact area W, and a vibration-control member 25 is fitted to the shoulder part 15 and an outer diameter of the calked part 7.
