<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser-carving original printing plate where the residue after laser-carving can be easily removed, and to provide a manufacturing method of a printing plate using the original printing plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Regarding the laser-carving original printing plate including a support (A) and a photosensitive resin layer (B), the photosensitive resin layer contains: a polyvinylalcohol (b1) having a saponification degree of 75 to 90 mol% and an average polymerization degree of 800 to 1,700; at least one water-soluble monomer (b2) and a photopolymerization initiator (b3).
