<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually attractively cover a vehicle seat while preventing or reducing the deterioration of the surface rigidity of a skin material caused by the formation of through-holes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The skin material 6S is configured to cover a part facing a member 9 with leather 10 having a silver face layer and a fiber layer. The leather 10 has through-holes 16 formed at least in a part of the facing part and a resin layer 20 covering the fiber layer. The resin layer 20 has a first region 21 facing the member 9 and a second region 22 formed around the first region 21. The second region 22 is formed of a resin having a quantity smaller than the first region 21, and has such flexibility as deformable corresponding to the shape of the contour of the vehicle seat 2.
