摘要 <p>The invention relates to a glow discharge lamp (1) for a glow discharge spectrometer, comprising: a lamp body having a vacuum chamber (6) that can be connected, on one side, to pumping means (8), for pumping down said chamber, and, on the other side, means for injecting an inert gas (10) into said chamber (6); a first electrode (2); a second electrode (4) capable of accommodating a specimen (12) to be analyzed; means for applying a DC, radiofrequency (RF) or hybrid potential difference across the terminals of said electrodes (2) and (4), capable of generating a glow discharge plasma (32) in the presence of the gas (10); means for coupling the lamp body to a spectrometer for measuring the emission of said plasma (32); and magnetic field generating means (34). According to the invention, the magnetic field generating means (34) are capable of producing, at least for a time T, a magnetic field with a high degree of parallelisml to the surface (14) of the specimen (12), capable of being exposed to the plasma (32), between said surface (14) and the plasma.</p>
