ELECTROCARDIOGRAM-DISPLAYING METHOD AND ELECTROCARDIOGRAM DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displaying method and its unit for instantly grasping abnormality of an electrocardiogram, and to provide a displaying method and its unit for quickly determining what cardiovascular dysfunction the abnormality results from.

SOLUTION: The electrocardiogram display unit includes: a cycle base point-synchronizing algorithm which synchronizes an input cardiac action potential with a base point R each one cycle; an overlap-displaying algorithm which overlappingly displays at least two or more cycles of waveforms of a cardiac action potential which continue relative to the time axis; a wavelength-adjusting algorithm which conducts adjustment so that the wavelength of the cardiac action potential after change is the same as that of the cardiac action potential before change when the wavelength of the cardiac action potential changes above a prescribed range; and an alarm means for giving an alarm for prompt response in case of occurrence of an abnormal cardiac action potential when shifts between the waveforms of the adjacent cardiac action potentials relative to the time axis are continuously generated two or more cycles above the prescribed range.
