HEEL SHIFTER FOR MOTORCYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the gear selecting process and improve the overall usability of a motorcycle.

SOLUTION: A gear shifter for a motorcycle includes a rotatable shifter shaft and a shifter arm having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion of the shifter arm is configured to be engaged with the shifter shaft. The gear shifter includes a shifter peg movably mounted in the second portion of the shifter arm so as to be turnable with respect to the shifter arm between the first position and second position. A retainer assembly is operable to selectively retain the shifter peg in the first and second positions, respectively.
