PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device capable of preventing a guard member and a clamp lever from making an intervening gap, thereby reliably preventing the intrusion of spatters into the inside thereof. SOLUTION: The clamping device 10 is equipped with an air cylinder 11, a support cylinder 12, and a locate pin 13. The locate pin 13 has an oblong-hole space 15 and a relief hole 18 formed therein and communicating with each other. In a space communicating the oblong-hole space 15 with the internal space of the support cylinder 12, the clamp lever 16 is disposed in a movable condition. The guard member 25 is composed of a plate spring, with a clamp-side distal end portion 25e fixedly welded to a clamp portion 16a of the clamp lever 16 and a lower end portion 25f fixed with a screw 26 inside the relief hole 18. This closes the oblong-hole space 15 into a space having the clamp lever 16 and a space not having it and prevents the guard member 25 and the clamp lever 16 from making a gap therebetween.
