<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech guidance device in which speech guidance is performed when abnormality is detected, and in which a sound volume is raised and an output speed is lowered without user's manual operation when the abnormality is not solved, while the guidance is stopped when the abnormality is solved. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The speech guidance device comprises: an abnormality detection section for detecting the abnormality; a reproduction section for reproducing the speech guidance; and a control section for controlling reproduction of the speech guidance. The control section reproduces the speech guidance by the reproduction section when the abnormality is detected by the abnormality detection section, while the speech guidance is reproduced by the reproduction section by raising the sound volume and/or lowering the reproduction speed when the abnormality is not solved after a lapse of predetermined period of time.
