<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure excellent mesh quality (quality of each cell) for a structure model after execution of morphing while sufficiently allowing relative evaluation of the calculation evaluation results before/after the shape change by morphing regarding a design support device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Nodal points of each cell 32 in a prescribed control region of a mesh model 30 are moved by morphing in accordance with an amount of deformation, obtained by optimization search, of design variables of the mesh model 30. Division of each cell 32 is executed to each cell 32, in which a mesh is roughened by execution of morphing, in the control region.
