<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet developer, in which chargeability of toner particles can be controlled while assuring storage stability and fixability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The wet developer is prepared by dispersing toner particles comprising at least a colorant and a binder resin in a nonvolatile carrier liquid by using a dispersant.
