<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary seat and a bicycle provided with the auxiliary seat, having excellent stability for an occupant. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This auxiliary seat 22 includes a body 44, a legless chair 52, and a guide bar 48. The guide bar 48 is positioned outside of the legless chair 52. The horizontal bar of the guide bar 48 is positioned on the lateral side of the legless chair and extends in the longitudinal direction of the legless chair 52. The auxiliary seat 22 is attached to the bicycle 2 and used for carrying up the occupant. Preferably, the horizontal bar of the auxiliary seat 22 is rotated with respect to the body 44 with the longitudinal direction of the legless chair 52 as a rotating shaft. The auxiliary seat 22 is provided with a step 46 for placing the foot of the occupant seated on the legless chair 52. In the horizontal bar, a position rotated downward from the step 46 with a posture extending in the longitudinal direction maintained is regarded as a lowermost position. The bicycle 2 provided with the auxiliary seat 22 is provided with a pair of right and left auxiliary wheels 14. The vertical movement of the auxiliary wheels 14 is fixed.
