<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side mirror maintaining a state of allowing a driver to have a rear sideways view of the vehicle with allowing the driver to simultaneously have a view in a direction required according to the condition of driving. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The side mirror 1 having a reflective face 30 for allowing the driver to have a rear sideways view of a vehicle. The reflective face 30 of the side mirror 1 is divided in a vehicle width direction, and the reflection direction of the divided inner reflective face 30b is changeable by driving, and thereby reflection of sideways is made ahead of the visible range of the outer reflecting face 30a.
