<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can suppress the deformation of an existing steel sheet pile when a reinforcing member is driven, and which can reinforce the existing steel sheet pile even after the existing steel sheet pile is inclined. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the existing steel sheet pile 2 having already been driven into ground is reinforced, a web end 31b of a T-shaped member 4 with no flange portion formed at one end is driven into the ground while being located along an inside surface of a web portion 11 of the steel sheet pile 2; and one ground-side end of the web end 31b of the T-shaped member 4 driven in the ground is connected to an upper end of the inside surface of the web portion 11 of the steel sheet pile 2 via a connecting member 40.
