PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting display device capable of further improving the discrimination of display content. SOLUTION: The light emitting display device 1 includes: a wiring board 2 composed of an insulating substrate 21 on which a prescribed wiring pattern is formed; light emitting elements 3 mounted on the wiring board 2; a light shielding case 4 having through-holes 41a for isolating the light emitting elements 3 one by one as a display unit; a cover sheet 5 provided on the top surface of the light shielding case 4; and an IC driver provided on the rear face of the wiring board 2 and selectively turning on the light emitting elements 3 arranged in dot-matrix. The circumferential wall section 41b of the through-hole 41a is formed such that the light exiting side is narrower than the light emitting element 3 side, and the shape of the opening is formed circular.
