PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a working time and to improve working efficiency in a data measuring instrument for outputting, to an external storage medium, measurement data obtained by measuring physical state values of a device to be monitored. SOLUTION: A data measuring instrument includes: a storage section 7 for temporarily storing measurement data; a data input/output section 8, to which a plurality of external storage media 3 are connected, for inputting/outputting the measurement data from/to the plurality of external storage media 3; a connection control setting section 5 for setting the connection of the plurality of external storage media 3 and displaying connection information of the plurality of external storage media 3 connected to the data input/output section 8 and a measuring state of the measurement data; and a control section 6 which performs input/output control regarding the exchange of measurement data between the storage section 7 and the external storage media 3 of an output destination designated by the connection control setting section 5.
