PURPOSE: A starting device is provided to improve reliability in discharging a submerged body from a submarine. CONSTITUTION: A starting device comprises a container(2) which is arranged outside of a pressure hull of a submarine and closed by a mouth closer to store a submerged body(4), a unit for opening the mouth closer and ejecting the submerged body, and a piston-cylinder arrangement(10) for moving a piston(14) or a cylinder(12) coupled to the submerged body against the mouth closer. |
