<p>System for tracking mobile objects in the field of view of a camera by means of remotely controlled devices shown in Fig. 1, consisting of the camera (1) connected with the computer (2). A computer has one or more screens (3) to which there is transmitted the video of the area shot by the camera (1). Operator (O) tracks by one or more remotely controlled devices (5) one mobile object (7) in the way, that he follows its motion on the screen (3) by the mouse cursor. A computer (2) converts by means of the program, through the interface (4) the course of motion of a mobile object (7) on the screen (3) into the motion of remotely controlled devices (5), tracking a mobile object (7) in the real area. The system is used in closed areas at televising or shooting theatrical performances for tracking actors by lights or video cameras. The system is also used in open areas for video control of larger areas as e.g. stadium, town squares and safety systems for positioning more cameras to one point.</p> |
