<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique for purifying waste filters by which the number of waste filters can freely be changed within its capacity and the energy for condensing and recovering the solvent can be considerably reduced by reusing the drain heat of steam used in the industrial laundry. <P>SOLUTION: The waste filter purifying device of a dry cleaning machine is externally provided with a blowing circuit 2 in which a forced fan 20, a condensing and recovering device 22 for solvent and a heater 23 are incorporated. Not more than n pieces of waste filter HF core pipes CP which are connected with one another in communication with one another are connected with the end of the blowing circuit 2 facing one end wall 13 of a pressure tank 1 in communication with it. One or not more than n-1 pieces of dummy filters DF whose filter elements are eliminated and whose core pipes CP are connected with one another in series are connected with the other end wall 15 of the pressure tank 1.
