IMAGING DEVICE AND IMAGE DEFECT CORRECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an image defect correcting method, which can adequately correct an image defect in a radiological image so as not to cause a mistaken diagnosis or the like.

SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an image defect detection section for detecting an image defect in a first image from first image data read out from an image detection section after the first image is captured without a subject; a size enlarging section for enlarging the size of the detected image defect by adding pixels contacting with the detected image defect to pixels of the image detection section corresponding to the detected image defect; and an image defect correcting section for correcting an image defect of a second image based on the enlarged image defect from second image data read out from the image detection section after the second image is captured with the subject.
