<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter lock solution which is a heparin-containing catheter lock solution, has the anticoagulation activity of heparin, does not substantially contain a bacteriostatic component such as an antiseptic, an antibacterial agent, and an antibiotic substance, and has bacteriostasis at a physiological osmotic pressure and high safety. <P>SOLUTION: The heparin-containing catheter lock solution having bacteriostasis to be injected into a blood vessel indwelling catheter has a pH of not higher than 5.5, contains a divalent cation or a sulfate ion, and has an osmotic pressure ratio of 0.5-3.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
