INFRARED-ABSORBING ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, ADHESIVE FILM, OPTICAL FILM FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, AND MULTILAYER OPTICAL FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared-absorbing adhesive composition with small variation of color tone due to humidity, etc., and an adhesive film and a multilayer optical film, both having the composition on the surface. SOLUTION: The optical film 7 for a plasma display panel includes an optical base plate 7a and an antireflection layer 7b. By using an adhesive resin layer 12, an optical substrate film 7 is attached to the front surface of a display 2 of a plasma display panel 1 to perfect the panel. The infrared-absorbing adhesive composition for forming the adhesive resin layer 12 contains an infrared-absorbing pigment and a pigment for color tone correction. A dye used as the pigment for color tone correction is selected so that when the infrared-absorbing adhesive composition is kept in the state of a solid film and stored for 500 hr at an ambient temperature of 80°C, the change ΔE of color difference is 1.0 or lower.
